Dr. Angel L. Colamussi is a licensed Marital and Family Therapist and a AAMFT Approved Supervisor. She graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and a Masters of Arts and Sciences in Marital and Family Therapy.  She has facilitated group therapy for court ordered domestic violence offenders, victims of domestic violence, and support groups. She was an outpatient therapist at Aurora Behavioral Healthcare, a private psychiatric hospital in San Diego working with adolescents and adults with severe mental health disorders. Dr. Colamussi works with active duty military as well as their families.

Dr. Colamussi was awarded a doctoral degree in Marital and Family Therapy from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. Dr. Colamussi has provided individual, couple, and family therapy since 2001. She currently specializes in couples and family therapy. She has a private practice in Scripps Ranch in San Diego that serves individuals, couples and families, suffering from depression, anxiety, grief, relationship problems and stress. Dr. Colamussi employs  Marital and Family Therapy interns that see clients on a sliding scale. Dr. Colamussi and her interns all work from the Emotionally Focused model developed by Susan Johnson and Les Greenberg.

Dr. Colamussi does not accept insurance. However, check with your insurance plans to find out if they will cover a portion of session fees for out of network providers
